I READY YOU FOR MY NEW LIFE

INDEPENDENTLY CODEPENDENT ON HIM  

What happens to those who wave their white flag intellectually otuside of therapy sessions? They begin to explore a relationship with that unknown God outside of office hours.  They begin to try to have a relationship with God.  Usually they falter in the beginning.  Some get discouraged because they cannot quiet their minds down long enough to get a sense of God’s Presence with them.  I tell them that just because they cannot feel God’s Presence does not mean that He is not with them as they struggle beyond their limited ability to try to touch Him in the silence of their hearts. 

Father John Paul of the Intercessors of the Lamb once described breaking through inner resistance to becoming fully open to the True Presence of God as being in shallow water of the Sea of Tranquility with the forces of evil standing in the way of going deeper. He insists that the best way to make this progress through resistance is to persevere in Love and ask God to help you walk through the boundaries set up by humanity’s propensity to negativity and eventually come into the fresh waters of the depth of God’s Love experientially within your heart. 

Father Robert Sears, S.J. in a recent workshop described the stages of growing into an ever deepening relationship with God in terms of the Four Waters of St. Teresa of Avila. In Stage One you see the waters of Salvation deep down in the well and you exert all of your effort to bring up one bucket of water to refresh your being. You do this repeatedly.  It takes a great deal of effort on your part but you proceed in drawing one buckt at a time to your being.  Stage Two is when you begin to become creative.  You develop a windmill of buckets that go into the water in a circular sequence and you find a way to bring multiple buckets of water your way.  All you have to do is to turn the crank so that the buckets move around into the waters and then come up to you to refresh you.  However you are exerting the effort.  In Stage Three God takes over.  He sends a River of Redeeming Water yourw way and you are overwhelmed by the flow of this water. God does all the work. You are amazed at what He does. In Stage Four, Father Sears give the image of walking in the rain with God. He then concluded by saying that these stages while they seem linear are in reality circular and that you go in and out of stages in accord with your needs of your moment in your time and in accord with your openness to the will of God in your life. 

I use these images to encourage people to persevere in Love so that while they exercise their free will independence, in effect they are becoming codependent on Him.

FRIENDSHIP

 Do not be concerned about what words I will share in you daily. Do not even be concerned if I intend to share words in you daily. I will always honor My Promise to you. I will speak in you daily in whatever way best fits your needs.

I am Jesus the Messiah. I speak in you with the blessing of My Father through the Power of Our Mutual Love The Most Holy Spirit. I am quite specific about who I am. I want no doubt about My Identity.

I am the Word Incarnate. My Words in you bring My New Life in Love Eternal within you to the forefront of your conscious awareness. I may not use words in all that follow Me daily as you do. However, I will make My Presence in Love Eternal in them known. I do so right now. Readers of these very words know internally their Source.

Why do I function in this manner as I do? That answer rests in My Sacred Heart. I alone know why I strike up this Relationship in Love intimately in souls like you. All I wish to say on the matter is that it pleases Me to have you accept whatever I wish to do in you.

I marvel at what you do with My Gift of Faith in you. Truly My Seeds of Love have fallen on fertile ground within you. I am The Resurrection. I am Life in Love Eternal. Truly I
say. I dwell in you in Love, with Love and through Love.

You have chosen wisely. You follow Me in faith. You freely choose to act on what you believe. You follow the gentle prompting of Our Most Holy Spirit who dwells always in Love within you.

You reject calls from false gods to stray from the Truth in Love that saves you. You build My Kingdom in your heart. You cooperate with My Grace. You seek after an ever deepening relationship in Love with Me, with My Father and with Our Mutual Love who is The Most Holy Spirit who dwells always in you.

There is nothing else that you can do that is more pleasing to Me. When you follow Me as you do you do all that I ask of you. You lay down the concerns of your life as you seek after Me quietly daily.

When you do this, I fulfill My Promise within you. I let you experience touches of My New Life in Love Eternal within you. I bless your devotion to Me. I reinforce your faith in what you believe by such intimate experiences of My Love within you. I choose this quiet, intimate way to build My Kingdom of Love in you and in souls like you.

We cultivate friendship in Love in much the same way that you cultivate friendship with others in temporary. You freely choose to build such friendships with those in your life by setting aside time to be with them. You can see them. You can touch them. You can hug them.

They can hug you back. They are human. You do not need blind faith to believe that they exist. They may disappoint you at times. Yet you still seek to relate to them in some
way. There is a difference in Our Friendship. You cannot see Me. You need to develop eyes of faith. You believe in
Me. You want to relate to Me.

Thus I come alive on an altar daily in a piece of bread and in a cup of wine at Mass. Transubstantiation occurs. You believe this is true. I take the scales from your eyes. I let you see Me with eyes of faith. I call you to Me. I wish to return your hug of Love physically. I wish to be in Communion with you.

Thus We renew our friendship. We become One in Love physically.
